PTI CLASSES... ON THE INTERNET
and ON THE ROAD... After
more than a decade of successful
airsmith certification and
marketing training, PTI has
stepped onto the internet in a
big way. PTI founder Bob
McGuire enlisted the services of
one of his video production
companies to provide live ONLINE certification classes with
interactive video, and live
coverage of remote paintball
events. In addition, PTI teaches some of their
certification classes at major paintball events,
including the Paintball
Extravaganza Dealer-Only Trade
Show.
Students can now choose
alternate classroom locations or
ONLINE options for airsmith
training.
PTI classroom instruction will
continue at the main school
location in Tennessee. All of the original PTI
certifications and marketing
classes will still be offered. The Advanced
Airsmith
and Master Airsmith
certifications continue to be
an affordable solution for
students who wish to receive
certifications for many
different brands of markers in a
single class.
In addition, PTI has
added "SINGLE
CERTIFICATION CLASSES"for students who do not wish to
spend the time or money to learn
how to repair many different
brands of markers. This is ideal
for fields who need to know how
to repair their specific brand
of rental marker, or for
students who have a brand
preference and a limited budget.
Not all designs will be offered
as single certs, and these
classes will not serve as
prerequisites for the Master
Airsmith certification class.
These classes are designed for
students who already own the
markers that are being taught in the
class. Students who do not own
their own markers should attend
classes at PTI locations, where
all of the classroom materials,
tools, and markers are
furnished.
FACTORY AIRSMITH
INSTRUCTORS... Factory Airsmith Instructors
will be directly participating
in some of the 2010 PTI advanced
airsmith certification classes.
New Live Online Classroom
software makes it possible for
instructors to participate in
real time from their classroom
or office, located at the "home
facility" of PTI Sponsors. This
will add a new dimension for our
industry, as the teachers as
well as the students can now be
located anywhere, during live
PTI classes. This new capability
will also allow special
online French and Spanish
speaking classes
in the future. PTI instructors
receive excellent ratings from
graduating students, but nothing
is better than a factory
instructor... teaching on his
home turf!
PTI
has now included the new
Tippmann PHENOM in all
C5 "Advanced Airsmith" certification classes
taught in the main PTI Tennessee
classroom, and online
in Tippmann "Single Cert"
classes.

PTI President Bob McGuire
has been instrumental in the
development of new classes
of business that have made
many struggling paintball
fields profitable. Bob
teaches business models and
new technology that he has
helped to develop in past
years, as well as fresh
insight into low impact
paintball and IR-Tag
innovations that will soon
be released. Several
companies are introducing
new products that can
convert paintball or airsoft
guns for use in new
generation computer
controlled laser tag games.
Class attendees will "test
drive" various products, and
can judge the durability and
profit potential of
different systems. PTI 2010 marketing class
attendees will receive
hands-on training at an
actual working outdoor laser
tag field using new
technology equipment,
including modules that allow
conversion of any airsoft or
paintball gun for use with
wireless helmets and vests
and new generation software.
